A doomed pond, green soup bowl, water stirred only by ravenous plant eating who knows what in who knows what numbers. The dread pea soup green pond syndrome. Any attempts to plant it scoffed at and well, scoffed. A perilous existence even for a tough as boots aquatic iris, indeedy. One day, the pond was accidentally topped up with hot water, the fish were pickled and dined on by the locals. Starting with a clean slate, this more or less shady pond responded well to the catastrophic events, the new whim was to try a blue waterlily and perty aquatic plants that will contribute towards maintaining crystal clear water. Wood's Blue goddess, a shade tolerant waterlily and a few other bits and bobs. The water quality stayed crystal clear, the plants flourish, easy to maintain. Perhaps it is time to put one or two tiddlers in Regards, andy http://www.flickr.com/photos/21940871@N06/ - http://s93.photobucket.com/albums/l42/adavisus/ - http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ50QQsassZadavisus
