Hardy waterlily Nymphaea René Gérard When established a free flowering with a reliable symetrical growing habit, high flower to leaf ratio makes this a very well behaved water lily with classic features, performing well in cooler Northern Summers Blooms about 6" to 9" wide, feature deep rosey red inner petals fading to outer petals flecked a soft red, rose pink, striking glowing orange and yellow inner stamen. Lilypads spreading some six to eight feet wide, a medium to large lilypad spread, distinctive bronze-green juvenile foliage. Introduced in 1914 by Joseph Marliac
